Lake Tahoe

We spent the long weekend in Lake Tahoe with our good friends, the Greenes. They decided to graduate and leave us for California so it was so fun to meet up with them halfway...at Lake Tahoe none-the-less!

{view from our day hike}

It was a first for Jesse and I. It was absolutely beautiful! Though we couldn't enjoy any good snow, we did enjoy being able to go outside with only a light jacket.

 {this just screams adventure}

{not me. should have been me.}

We visited the lake-front several times.

The boys practiced their rock skipping.

The Greenes-- a.k.a. awesome hosts!

The Garners -- new found friends!

The girls.

Stacey & Steven {also new found friends} joined us for the last couple days!

{loved waking up to this sight}

We checked out the festivities and shopping at Northstar and ate at the highly recommended Rubicon Pizza Company. I went with the gluten-free BBQ chicken pizza. Delish. I've been on this BBQ chicken pizza kick lately. Rubicon's was seriously the BEST.

We ate brunch at The Old Post Office Cafe -- another gem favored by the locals.
We made a deserving stop at the Char Pit. Don't ask questions...just go.

We played games. Lots of games.
The boys talked tech gibberish and the girls found relief from it by watching DOWNTON ABBEY {so hot right now}!!

Fun times were had by all.
Thanks to the Greenes for being the great friends that they are!
